Step #1:
Double load your brush by putting one corner of the brush in yellow, and the opposite corner in Red. Blend on your pallete paper by stroking the brush forward and back in a gentle motion so the colors blend.
|
Step #2:
Do a "C" Stroke with the yellow paint away from you. Do the stroke with the open side of the "C" to the bottom. Now, make a second "C" stroke, starting on the left outside of the stroke you just finished, performing an opposite stroke from the previous and ending on the right outside.
|
Step #3:
Starting with your brush on the right side, press down, pull to the right and immediately toward you doing a half - "C" - stroke. Then, repeat the same on the left going in the opposite direction.
|
Step #4:
Finish the rose using the "S" Stroke. Across the bottom of the rose, start on the right, pulling to the left, push down, lift and finish the "S". Repeat this from the left, moving in the opposite direction from before. The two "S" strokes will overlap in the center.
