Step #1:
Load the bottom of the trio brush with a light green paint. Pull the left side through a dark green paint. Then pull the right side through a medium shade of green.

Step #2:
Start on the tip of the brush. Pull toward you. Press down and to the left, still pulling toward you. Move back to the right, return to the tip, all of the time pulling the brush toward you. This is all in one continual motion. Do not rotate or twist the brush during this stroke.

Step #3:
Repeat loading (See Step 1)

Step #4:
Starting approximately 1/3 down the right side of the previous stroke, repeat Step 2, following the right side contour of Step 2.

Step #5:
Repeat steps 3 and 4.

Step #6:
Load the brush as in Step 1, but with the dark color on the right.

Step #7:
Starting on the tip where the first stroke began, pull towards you. While pulling the brush toward you, press and move to the RIGHT. Then return to the left and back to the tip. (This is the same as Step 2, but in the opposite direction.)

Step #8:
Repeat Step 6 and 7, starting each stroke on the inside about 1/3 down the previous stroke.

Step #9:
In the remaining open space, start with the Trio brush on the tip, push down and pull directly toward you, and lift, ending again on the tip.
